These are a few of my multiple exposure experiments using a film SLR, in the dark room. To achieve this I put to negatives into the negative carrier a exposed them at the time which was best. When doing these I found that having the filters on really helped to make the image more contrasted as that is what is needed when doing multiple exposure so that you are able to differentiate between the images. I also found in order to have a successful outcome, you want to have the portrait image to have a white background and the subject being quite contrasted and then have the overlaying image be quite dark also in order for it to show up and give that multiple exposure.
My next step from here is to try and do multiple exposures on the actual camera, which might prove to be a little more difficult.
